Direction to the institute

The institute is located in building 62 (see map of University campus). The main entrance of the Campus is at the Ratzeburger Allee. A side entrance is located at Mönkhofer Weg.
 

How to get to the institute
by train/bus

By train you will arrive either at the main station (Lübeck-Hbf.) orat the station Lübeck-St. Jürgen.

From the main station (Lübeck-Hbf.):
When leaving the main station cross the street to get to the central bus station (ZOB - Zentralen Omnibus Bahnhof). The central bus station is located opposite the main station. Bus tickets can be purchased either at the central ticket shop or directly in the bus (please ask the driver).
To get to the institute you can go with the following bus lines:

Bus No.   1   Direction Hochschulstadtteil/Mönkhofer Weg
Bus No.   9   Direction Universitätsklinikum/Grillenweg

                   Please leave the bus at bus stop: FACHHOCHSCHULE.

Bus No. 32   Direction Stephensonstrasse

                   Please leave the bus at bus stop: STEPHENSONSTRASSE.

After leaving the bus cross the street and enter the campus area. For the bus stop FACHHOCHSCHULE: follow Universitätsstrasse and take the second street to the right which is Marie-Curie-Straße. Follow the street until you see a parking lot at the right hand side. Take walking path which separates the parking lot. The building 62 is located to your left hand side close to the library (see Campus map).

From train station Lübeck-St. Jürgen:
Turn left into the street Mönkhofer Weg (don't cross the rail tracks). Follow the street Mönkhofer Weg into direction school of applied science (Fachhochschule), approximately 600 meters until you get to the bus stop FACHHOCHSCHULE. Turn left into Universitätsstrasse and take the second street on the right which is Marie-Curie-Straße. Follow the street until you see a parking lot at the right hand side. Take walking path which separates the parking lot. The building 62 is located to your left hand side close to the library (see Campus map).

by car

• from Hamburg or Puttgarden via highway A1 => exit Lübeck-Mitte or Lübeck-Genin
• from Berlin via highway A24 => exit Hornbek
• from Rostock and Ratzeburg via Bundesstraße B207
• from Kiel and Bad Segeberg via Bundesstraße B206

Please note: On the campus area there is only one public parking lot (parking fees apply, approx. € 1/hr).

Airport Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel

From the airport take the bus or the train (S-Bahn/S1) to Hamburg central station. From the central station there are regular trains going to Lübeck main station. From there take public busses as described above.
